UK rental company Advanced Access Platforms takes has ordered 26 Niftylift hybrid and bi-energy boom lifts, its largest single boom lift order to date.
The order includes a wide range of models from the 33ft HR12 bi-energy to the 86ft HR28 4×4 Hybrid, and includes the HR15, HR17 and HR21 hybrids, all of which are destined for the company’s central London depot, which given its proximity to London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone, is stocked with environmentally friendly platforms and delivery vehicles.
All of the diesels in the booms conform to Euro Stage 5 and US Tier 4-Final standards, as well as being able to operate a full shift on battery power.
John Corcoran of Advanced Access said: “Advanced Access is focusing on providing low weight, environmentally conscious booms that still offer the best working envelopes to our customers. The lower weight of Niftylift booms means that we can transport them more easily within the Ulta Low Emission Zone, while hybrid power allows them to work anywhere, quietly and cleanly, when needed. This investment with Niftylift is our biggest so far and shows that we are fully committed to meeting the needs of our customer base.”
