Winner of the 'Queen's Awards for Enterprise 2019' Innovation award, the HeightRider 28 (HR28) 4x4 is one of a new generation of environmentally conscious work platforms from Niftylift. Combining advanced power-source technology with efficient four-wheel drive, the HR28 4x4 delivers outstanding performance from a compact, low-weight design. The HR28 is substantially lighter and more compact than its competitors and with a smaller tail swing. This, coupled with its excellent manoeuvrability, means it can work in more locations than its larger rivals and be transported more economically. Better utilisation and lower transportation costs make the HR28 a more profitable machine to own and operate. The hybrid option incorporates Niftylift's revolutionary second-generation Hybrid power system. It uses a smaller, power-optimised EU Stage V-compliant Diesel engine, supported by the machine's electric motor when extra power is needed. This maintains power and performance while reducing fuel consumption for maximum efficiency. The innovative 'Diesel Re-Gen' feature also recharges the batteries, giving a 'fast charge' whenever the machine is idle, and the engine is running. In addition, an electric-only mode allows zero-emission operation, making it ideal for indoor use or quiet, clean operation.
